Who we are
Blimpkin Inc., trading as Demand Magic, 128 Auburn Court, Suite 200, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362. You can reach us at ryan@postcardactivation.com. We run direct-mail postcard campaigns for local businesses.
What we collect when you fill in a form on this site
Your name, business name, email address and phone number.
Which of our niche pages you arrived from, so we know what kind of business you run.
We do not ask for, and do not want, your date of birth, government identifiers, or payment details on these forms.
Why we ask for your phone number
So we can reach you about the service you asked for. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a text-message marketing list from a form fill.
If we ever start sending marketing text messages, we will ask you to opt in to those separately and specifically first.
Customer lists our clients upload to us
Clients send us their own past-customer lists so we can mail postcards on their behalf. We handle that data only to run the campaign the client asked for. We do not sell it, we do not merge it into our own marketing lists, and we do not use it for any other client.
The client remains responsible for that data and for having the right to contact the people on it. We will return or delete a list on request.
Email we send you
If you ask us for a free postcard sample, we email you about the service. Every one of those emails has a working unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click, no login, no confirmation step — and it stops all of our marketing email to you, not just the one sequence.
You can also just email ryan@postcardactivation.com and ask us to stop.
Who else touches your data
Our email provider, to deliver email. Our payment processor, to take payment if you become a client — they handle your card details directly and we never see or store a card number. Our hosting and print/mail providers, to run the site and physically produce and post the cards.
Each of them gets only what they need to do that job. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details: up to two years from your last contact with us, then we delete them.
Client records and campaign history: for as long as you are a client and then seven years, because tax and accounting rules require it.
Uploaded customer lists: for the life of the campaign, then on request at any time.
Your rights in California
California residents can ask us what personal information we hold about them, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. You can also ask us not to sell or share it — although we do neither.
Email ryan@postcardactivation.com and say which you want. We will not treat you differently for asking. We aim to respond within 45 days.
If you are outside California and have similar rights where you live, ask anyway and we will honour them.
Children
This is a service sold to business owners. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top. If the change is significant and we have your email, we will tell you.
